In anticipation of April's launch of Grand Theft Auto V on PC, Rockstar Games will be releasing the first official trailer for the PC version of the game on Thursday. The developer announced their plans to unveil the trailer on March 30. The confirmation post on the Rockstar Newswire blog also revealed that the video will give players their first glimpse at GTA V running at 60 frames per second, a higher framerate than what is currently possible on any existing edition of the game.
Like the recently released Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions of Grand Theft Auto V, the PC edition of the game will also feature improved visuals from what gamers first saw in the title's original launch on last-gen consoles in 2013. However, GTA V's upcoming PC version will also include improvements over the current-gen edition such as the ability to run at a higher framerate. PC players will also be able to enjoy an additional radio station within GTA V that will feature several new tracks. The new station will include a wide variety of musical genres.
Gamers still have time to pre-order their PC copy of Grand Theft Auto V to receive a bonus of in-game cash. Those who purchase the title ahead of launch will receive $500,000 to spend in the single-player campaign and an additional $700,000 specifically for use within GTA Online.
Grand Theft Auto V will launch on PC later this month. The new online heist missions, which have already been released on the game's console editions, will also be available on PC.
