First thing you gotta do is that get ready your blog for adsense
Adsense team always approve only those blogs who have met up the requirements.so first you all have to make your blog ready for this step.Check that your blog met these requirements.there are some basic requirement announced by adsense team.for example,in the

5. Apply For Adsense Via Your Tld(top level domain)
You should always apply for Adsense via top level domain (yoursite.com) not with yourblog.blogspot.com
6. Wisely Choose your Content Images
Adsense never approve copyright content.Copyright cottent means the things which are copied from another site without any permission.as we all make mistakes in choosing an image. some of us go any image directory and copy the images from there have you ever checked that the image maybe copy right protected that is the reason that many of us fail to get approval from adsense because of these reasons only.So it's better to search first via google where you will get thousands of website where they provide free images and choose from their or you can just make image by your own using some software's this would be very nice.
7. Choose a nice design and layout for your blog or website
Make your your blog that your blog looks nice .It would have nice header and content area and sidebar etc.make sure that the blog design is enjoyed by your visitors.As if Your audience are happy which means Adsense will also like it.First your blog or website should have nice design and it should be fast loading.Don't worry their are many freemium templates available in the internet.

8. Check Whether your site is not being blocked by Google.
Be sure that your blog or website is not being blocked by Google as Adsense team search your site Staistics via search engine.Don't now how to check it just search for "site:yourdomain.com" on Google.If you se results of your blog or website then it is not blocked if not seeing any results then it is blocked.
9. Make sure your Blog does not contain any Adsense prohibited content
Adsense has directly told mentioned, sites with adult contents, copyrighted contents, drug alcohol related contents, hacking cracking contents, violent contents, weapons related contents and other illegal contents will not be approved.
10.And at last For applying for Adsense visitors are not the factor.
Visitor are not the factor for approval of adsense the main factor is your blog Quality.that's what required.So don't worry about visitor's first .However After approval you need visitors for generating revenue.
