Facebook beats Google in referral traffic -
This time the news comes from Facebook competition with the giant Google. It is not discharged endless rivalry of these two giants.
Google is known as a very big contributor to traffic and effect on any website and many websites rely heavily on organic Google traffic, but it turns out Facebook more influential in contributing to traffic referrals.
Most noticeably websites gets traffic referrals from Facebook this is news websites, the results on the website parse.ly analysis showed that traffic contributed by Facebook to the news website has exceeded the given by Google.

Seen in the chart above that indeed the traffic provided by Google is still greater in April 2012 to early 2015, but early 2015 is the start of the signs that Facebook will beat the traffic from Google and in July Facebook was preceded traffic from Google for news websites.
The data is taken by parse.ly with researching the traffic of 100 top ranking website alexa.com insisted comscore.com and that is where the majority news sites.
It is not strange to see traffic given up on news websites was higher than Google, because Facebook users has reached 1.44 billion worldwide and of course they are very hungry for news, and spend more time on Facebook than on Google search engine .
But it is not denied to websites that provide tutorials still rely on Google for traffic as more people use search engines to find tutorials.
For continuation still we do not know whether Facebook will still outperform Google in contributing traffic to news websites or will go reverse direction.
